Echoing the curves and geometry of Manila’s Art Deco architecture.
Deco Ibarra is a collector line of timepieces inspired by the Art Deco architecture of Manila's Golden Age. Designed in Tokyo. Built for those who see beauty in structure.
A Great Light on a Grand Stage
The Gran Luz is Deco Ibarra's first timepiece — a watch whose dial takes its geometry from the architecture of Manila's Golden Age, when the city built its most ambitious and beautiful structures.
In 2025, the Gran Luz was selected as a participant in the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) — horology's most recognised design award. It stands among a field of the world's most considered independent watchmaking.
Deco Ibarra is a design partnership between Ibarra and Moreno Watch Studio, the independent Tokyo atelier of Francisco Moreno.
The Gran Luz is the first Filipino timepiece to participate in the GPHG.

The Original
Explore the OriginalThe piece that began the conversation. A 36mm dress watch whose dial geometry is drawn from the architecture of Manila's Golden Age — sun-shaped hour markers, dauphine hands, mother-of-pearl inlays at the cardinal hours.

The '56
Explore the '56A commemorative edition marking seventy years of Philippines-Japan diplomatic relations. The '56 carries the Gran Luz geometry with special mother-of pearl inlays on its dial and a Himeji Kurozan strap — a quiet acknowledgement of two cities, one discipline.

The Cine Noir
Explore the Cine NoirA darker expression of the same geometry. The Cine Noir draws from the shadow and contrast of midcentury Film Noir cinema — deep dial, architectural tension, the same considered proportions worn differently.
