On the 22nd of May 2017, then Philippine President wore the Ibarra Plaridel during a press conference and spoke about it to the media. He mentioned that as he flew to Russia for a State Visit, he would wear it with pride, highlighting it as a product of the Philippines.
ASEAN50
On the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN, the Philippines, as the host, presented tokens to the world leaders and delegates.
Ibarra was selected to create a special timepiece for the occasion, which was gifted during various events, including the Special Celebration that culminated the anniversary.
30th SEA Games
Ibarra was selected as the Official Commemorative Timepiece of the 30th Southeast Asian Games, hosted by the Philippines. The brand designed an exquisite watch featuring the 30th SEA Games logo on a full guilloche dial. Additionally, a version of this timepiece was created with the logo of the Philippine Olympic Committee.
