Everything had now changed.

The pandemic had passed. The brand had survived. And the founder had moved to Tokyo — immersing deeper into the craft, establishing Moreno Watch Studio, and returning to the Sucesos with new eyes and new hands.

A third version was made. Brass case. 37mm. A Miyota 9039 automatic movement. The hinged double caseback was gone — replaced by a cleaner, quieter form.

This version was never introduced to the public. It was made to be observed — watched as it aged, studied as the material settled into itself. The use of brass, it turned out, did not meet the founder's expectations in terms of its patina journey.

We watched. We waited. We learned.

And then we made it again.
